Professional Role Models-
Every YMCA Camp Ingersoll staff member has been selected based on their ability to accept and demonstrate the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our staff members are more than just "good people" they are individuals with strong character who know how to teach these values. Here are some of the role models that your camper will be talking about:

Chrissy Civetelli- Younger Camps Coordinator
For the past 7 summers Chrissy has worked at YMCA Camp Ingersoll in a variety of roles including Arts & Crafts Director, Nature Director and Unit Leader for the Kiddy Campers. Now Chrissy coordinates the programs for Wee Wonders, Kiddy Campers and Youngers. Chrissy is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and is currently involved in a program at UCONN where she is earning her PhD in School Psychology.

Delia Danczuk- Unit Leader for Middle Girls
Delia is a senior at UCONN studying elementary education. She has spent 4 summers at YMCA Camp Ingersoll and in 2007 was voted “Staff of the Summer” by her peers. In addition to being fun and outgoing, Delia is committed to teaching her campers about the YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Delia also recieved the Henry Coe Scholarship "Taylor Award" in 2007.
Dan DeConti- Unit Leader for Middle Boys
Dan is entering his eighth summer at YMCA Camp Ingersoll and is the Unit Leader for the Middle Boys. Dan is a graduate of CCSU and is a teacher and hockey coach at Xavier High School. Dan is a “sports guy” that doesn’t mind wearing a silly costume or singing a camp song. As a mature leader Dan serves as a great role model for campers and his fellow staff.
