Welcome to YMCA Camp Ingersoll located in Portland, CT! Here at YCI we strive to provide campers with the opportunity to make friends, learn skills and interact with nature all under the guidance of our caring "professional role models."
What's Happening at YMCA Camp Ingersoll
Our very own Facility Director Steve has been very busy this Fall not only with camp clean up but also with transforming the Basketball Pavilion into the new Herb Mayo Wee Hut! We are pouring a concrete floor, constructing half walls, two storage rooms, and screening in the remainder of the pavilion to mirror the Kiddy Kamp Pavilion. The Wees and Kiddy Kampers will now each have their own space!

New Programs for 2012
Music Factory (Entering grades 6-9)
Music Factory is an audio education program that explores the art of mixing and recording music.
Glee Camp (Entering grades 5-8)
During this two week program campers will gain confidence as they sing Top 40 pop songs, popular classic rock n' roll tunes, learn group performing skills and harmonizing techniques.
Let’s Dance (Entering grades 3-6)
Learn dance routines and choreographies to the latest hit songs in this two week program. For both beginners and those with more experience.
Acting for Fun (Entering grades 1-3)
Campers will be able to express themselves in a variety of new and exciting ways through drama and acting activities. Our staff set the stage for a safe, fun and creative atmosphere.
Mega Blocks (Entering grades 3-5)
Campers will imagine, design and create some of the most outrageous Lego® structures ever!
Outdoor Adventure (Grades 6-9)
A great introduction to the world of adventure activities. Participants begin facing challenges together on the low/high ropes course, and continue to achieve new heights during a series of day trips.
